CE is a short form of Call Option. The real full form of CE is Call Eurpean. They are the investment contacts that provide Option buyer , the right to buy the underlying asset, but not the commitment, to purchase a stock. The basic asset is a share, bonds and commodity. PE is the short form of Put Option. The real full form of PE is Put European. Put Option is a contract that gives you the right to sell the Stock.

Meaning of PE

We will understand Put Option by an example: Suppose by purchasing a put option for $5, now you have the right to sell 100 shares at 100$ per share. If ABC company's stock drops to $80 then you could exercise the option and sell 100 shares at $100/ share. Here you will earn $1500  profit.
